Salary: $17.00 per hour / 37.5 hours per week - full-time position
Location of Work: 40 King Street West, #143, Toronto, ON M5H 3T2
Job Description:
- Supervise, manage and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
- Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
- Manage Catering set up at customer location and improve service
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and in accordance with agreement entered into with customers
- Planning catering menus and determine related food and labour costs
- Develop and design Individual pack catering service for events
- Understand specific customer need according to food allergies and sensitivity and provide options
- May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs.
Job Requirements:
- Previous restaurant management experience, minimum 1-year
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as solid track record of delivering timely results
- Driven and focused. Passion for people and service excellence
- Ability to inspire, motivate and develop people
