Job Description

Salary:   $17.00 per hour / 37.5 hours per week - full-time position


Location of Work:  40 King Street West, #143, Toronto, ON M5H 3T2


Job Description:

  • Supervise, manage and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
  • Manage Catering set up at customer location and improve service
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and in accordance with agreement entered into with customers
  • Planning catering menus and determine related food and labour costs
  • Develop and design Individual pack catering service for events
  • Understand specific customer need according to food allergies and sensitivity and provide options
  • May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Previous restaurant management experience, minimum 1-year
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as solid track record of delivering timely results
  • Driven and focused. Passion for people and service excellence
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and develop people
