Salary: $60,000 per annum; full-time position (40 hours per week)

Job Description
- Arrange shipments on a worldwide basis through subcontractors and service providers
- Close follow up on shipments as well as invoicing and vendor invoice review and approval are part of your responsibilities
- Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: shipping, maintaining inventories of materials, parts and products; processing purchasing transport transactions
- Co-ordinate transport work; dispatching shipments, scheduling transportation crews and routes; and other related activities
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Resolve work-related issues
- Prepare and submit progress and other reports
- Co-ordinate activities with other supply-chain work units or departments
- Requisition supplies and materials as needed
- Ensure smooth operation of operational computer systems
- You may need to perform the same duties as workers supervised
- From time to time, it may be necessary to attend in ports or airports to oversee the loading or unloading of cargo or meet with clients or subcontractors. In such case travel expenses and mileage will be reimbursed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the freight and traffic industry
- Post secondary education in Business or Supply Chain Management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forwarder Logic (Freight forwarding software) & Salesforce
