Job Description

As a Sales and marketing consultant, the following duties must be performed:

Prepare written material such as reports, briefs, website content, Provide consultation on planning and starting of new businesses, Perform administrative tasks, Plan development projects, Recruit and hire staff, Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities, Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals, Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers, Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles, Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies, Answer written and oral inquiries, Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material, Gather, research and prepare communications material, Conduct analytical marketing studies, Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends, Design market research questionnaires, Design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects, Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions, Develop marketing strategies, Maintain and manage digital database, Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials, Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

 

Employment Start Date: ASAP

Wage Rate: $ 30.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full – time, (40 hours per week) Permanent employment

Employment Duration: Term of 2 years

Work Location: Surrey, BC

Language of work: English

 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience required. 

Person should have working knowledge of using MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Outlook and electronic mail.

 

Physical capabilities and Personal suitability include ability to work under pressure, fast-paced environment. Have attention to detail. Candidate should have skills of Client focus, organization, be a Team player, have diligence, have efficient interpersonal skills
