Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying new business opportunities and potential partnerships to expand the company's market presence.
- Create and implement sales strategies that support company objectives by examining market trends, establishing precise targets, and using data-driven insights to enhance performance and boost revenue growth.
- Craft sales strategies tailored to the IT industry, focusing on technology solutions, software, and services.
- Set clear, measurable performance targets for the team, offering regular coaching and support to ensure they understand and meet these goals effectively and efficiently.
- Stay updated on software development trends, emerging technologies, and market demands to inform sales strategies.
- Establish sales targets and KPIs for the team to measure performance, drive results, and align efforts with company goals.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in the sales process, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving better results through innovation and effective strategies.
- Foster a culture of innovation by motivating the team to stay updated on technological advancements and industry best practices, ensuring they apply these insights creatively.
- Lead the market development team to collect price benchmarking data and motivate the sales team, including hiring training, and performance management.
- Stay informed about cybersecurity threats, trends, and technological advancements.
- Develop and drive sales initiatives to achieve set goals by mentoring and motivating the team.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5 years or more in sales management within the IT professional services sector or similar sector.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a sales team, including experience in recruiting, training, and performance management.
- Expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies, with the ability to analyze market trends and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and senior management.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiating contracts and closing complex sales deals, with the ability to manage high-value transactions and navigate intricate client requirements effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Understanding of industry regulations and standards to ensure all sales activities comply with legal requirements.
Location: Mississauga, ON, L5R 3E7 (Remote work available)
Salary: $63.50 per hour for 30 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
