Job Description

 Location: Etobicoke, ON M8W 3C4

Salary: $87.25 per hour for 30 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support business goals, drive profitability, and ensure sustainable growth through strategic planning and financial analysis.
  • Direct department heads and teams, cultivate a collaborative culture, and foster professional development to enhance overall team performance and job satisfaction.
  • Create and oversee budgets for various departments and projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and making adjustments to meet financial targets and operational needs.
  • Lead major IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and successful achievement of project objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze operational costs, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure efficient resource allocation to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality service and product standards.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance revenue streams, including exploring new business opportunities, optimizing pricing models, and expanding market reach to increase profitability.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, informing sales strategies and enabling the company to stay ahead in the market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs and feedback to enhance satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments, ensuring alignment on goals, projects, and company-wide initiatives to support overall organizational success.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and expanding the company's client base.
  • Developing contingency plans and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Significant experience of 5 years or more is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with experience in setting goals, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to develop and implement long-term business strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost management, with the ability to make data-driven financial decisions and manage resources effectively.
  • The budgetary responsibility falls between $500,001 - $1,500,000.
  • Deep understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies, with the ability to make informed decisions about technology adoption and implementation is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies, market conditions, and business needs, with a proactive approach to managing change and driving innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes to improve operations and performance.
