Salary: $87.00 hourly / 30 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

 

Job Type: Permanent employment

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the motel's annual budget, including forecasting revenue and expenses.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for ownership or stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • Implement pricing strategies and revenue management practices to optimize room rates and occupancy levels.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements without compromising service quality.
  • Conduct financial analysis and scenario planning to support decision-making and future investments.
  • Lead the team to manage the cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and unexpected expenses.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance investment planning services to meet evolving client needs and market conditions.
  • Manage and mentor staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Plan and oversee capital expenditures, including renovations, equipment purchases, and facility upgrades.
  • Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) for capital projects and ensure alignment with the hotel’s strategic objectives.
  • Expand business network by signing up new corporate clients from across North America.

 Eligibility Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Finance, business management is required.
  • Significant work experience of five years or more is crucial.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reports, statistical data, and regulations, with experience in financial planning, or similar areas.
  • Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and risk management.
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, addressing their needs and enhancing their experience.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and develop teams effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interactions with clients, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and impactful exchanges.
  • Focused on achieving business objectives and driving financial performance.
