Responsibilities
Tasks
- Supervise children and ensure their safety at all times.
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to children.
- Administer first aid and medication when necessary.
- Guide and correct children’s behavior following parental instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized child care environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about the child’s progress and concerns.
- Promote good hygiene and teach proper personal care routines.
- Help children develop social skills through play and activities.
- Manage children’s behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Prepare and implement a daily schedule of activities and routines.
- Ensure children are dressed appropriately for weather and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as washing dishes and laundry related to child care.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain their hygiene.
- Organize engaging activities like games, crafts, and outdoor play for their development and recreation.
