Fishman Lobster Clubhouse Restaurant is currently looking for a Cook.
The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following job duties:
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen with cleaning schedules
- Ensure items needed are put on a requisition form and that the form is completed in full before delivery to the Receiver
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Assist in plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Hire and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of work experience in the related field
- Completion of secondary school or has equivalent experience
Skill Requirement:
- Experienced in restaurant cooking
- Passionate about food
- Ability to work efficiently, and consistently in a faced paced environment
- Must be organized and clean
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
Compensation:
$17 - 22/Hour
30 work hours per week
