Job Description

Fishman Lobster Clubhouse Restaurant is currently looking for a Cook

The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following job duties:

  • Oversee kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen with cleaning schedules
  • Ensure items needed are put on a requisition form and that the form is completed in full before delivery to the Receiver
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Assist in plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • Hire and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

 

Experience: 

  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in the related field
  • Completion of secondary school or has equivalent experience

 

Skill Requirement:

  • Experienced in restaurant cooking
  • Passionate about food
  • Ability to work efficiently, and consistently in a faced paced environment
  • Must be organized and clean
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members

Compensation: 

$17 - 22/Hour 

30 work hours per week
