Responsibilities
Task:
- Preparing ingredients such as meats, vegetables, and sauces.
- Slicing bread and other ingredients, cooking meats, ensuring they are cooked to safe temperatures.
- Monitoring portion sizes and presentation of sandwiches.
- Creating and managing work schedules for kitchen helpers to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
- Training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen equipment use.
- Assisting in inventory control by recording food items, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Following all company policies and procedures related to food preparation and service.
