Salary: $22.00 per hour; full-time position (40 hours/week)
Location of Work: Hyderabad Biryani Hut, 6015 Steels Ave East, Scarborough
Job Description:
- Plan, organize and control the daily operations of the restaurant
- Manage all staff and ensure all team members have the proper training to deliver high standards.
- Handle training of staff in job duties, franchise operational procedures, sanitation and safety procedures and motivating peak team performance to drive better internal team devotion.
- Assign, oversee and evaluate work.
- Organize, complete and post staff work schedules.
- Maintain inventory control systems and order supplies and food ingredients.
- Deal with suppliers, negotiate delivery arrangements.
- Support local and national marketing initiatives.
- Ensure that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.
- Handle all customer service issues including resolving customer complaints, etc.
- Maintain business records, monitor revenues and perform daily closeout procedures on POS system.
Job Requirements:
- Committed to working full time in a challenging fast paced food retail environment.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a management capacity in the restaurant management field.
- Proven track record of working with a team and building trust and respect at all levels.
- Past experience that shows leadership in a community is a great asset.
- Working knowledge of health and safety and food standards procedures.
