Employment Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Experience of at least 6 years in accounting
• Experience in marine and drilling industry is an asset
Duties:
- Manages and organizes the monthly financial reporting process, conducts reviews and addresses client’s queries regarding monthly financial reports and forecasts.
- Oversees client reporting and recharges and ensures timely delivery of deliverables.
- Reviews and consolidates forecasts and service budget files for client reporting.
- Manages internal cash funding requests and coordinates transfers.
- Issues funding requests to client, monitors, and records them accurately.
- Facilitates weekly client meetings to address ongoing matters.
- Acts as liaison between the organization and the client.
- Ensures accurate billing and recording of client recharges, resolving any discrepancies.
- Organizes client invoicing, prepares the calculations, issues the invoices and records transactions.
- Monitors bank balances, records receipts, and reconciles related accounts receivables.
- Tracks subcontract invoice issuances and settlements.
- Provides forecast and budget variances explanations to clients.
- Completes monthly balance sheet reconciliations and participates in quarterly internal meetings.
- Provides internal forecast numbers and explanations to management.
- Manages, organizes, and trains staff.
