Job Description

Location: Scarborough, ON M1M 3V1

Salary: $64.25 per hour for 30 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the company operates profitably by managing costs, optimizing pricing strategies, and maximizing margins.
  • Recruiting, training, and motivating the sales team to perform at their best. Employee retention and development are often key metrics.
  • Creating and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • GM sales will have a broader strategic focus, overseeing various business functions beyond sales. -They will be responsible for setting overall strategic direction, formulating policies, and managing resources.
  • Create budgets, develop and design incentive plans for sales managers and other team members and create plans to expand into new territories.
  • Provides leadership to the sales team and other departments.
  • Developing and implementing growth strategies.
  • They will coordinate activities across different departments or divisions within the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborating with teams in marketing, operations, finance, and other areas.
  • Hiring and training of employees in Sales and marketing.
  • Evaluating performance and productivity of overall sales department.
  • Overseeing financial reports including detailed analyses of the stores’ performance and future plans.
  • Staying updated about market trends, competition, and consumer preferences to make informed decisions and adapt strategies.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field is required.
  • Extensive experience of 5 years or more in sales management and leadership roles is crucial.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices, along with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate sales teams, set targets, and foster a positive work environment.
  • The ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to make informed decisions and optimize sales strategies.
